Description

Hi,

Great plugin. I am really happy with it. However, it is causing the server to crash.

For some reason, according to my hosting company, the plugin is causing each visitor to have over 100 connections and is causing "POST" actions. The hosting said that the file in question is transposh_ajax.php.

Is there a setting I am missing? I do not have the widget on the sidebar, I only translated the blog and google indexed it. Do I need to have the sidebar widget in order for the widget to work?

Hello There,

Things like that may happen when something is really badly configured, for normal translation of languages only 2-3 posts should happen, and only when the page translation is totally empty.

Under google proxied languages (such as the new ones added today, and the other 6) there will be many requests to the server (not posts though) and a few posts. You can avoid that by disabling anonymous translation and going over your site once to have the translation created.

You might have a bigger problem with the transposh_ajax not working at all, which I could have seen had you attached a link. In that case the problem should be worked out and solved.

No, the widget is not the issue.

Good luck
